Vancro is pleased to announce Cory Brunner, CI/CT will be leading its language translation and interpretation missions!

 

As the new Director of Interpreter Services, Cory comes to Vancro with over 20 years of experience working in the field of Interpreting. A graduate of Northeastern University in Boston, she holds two national credentials from The Registry of Interpreters for the Deaf. Cory has served on numerous boards and advisory committees in both Massachusetts and in Vermont and is a member of the Options Interpreting Cooperative based out of Albany NY. She has served as President, Secretary, and Treasurer for the Vermont Registry of Interpreters for the Deaf, and was a recipient of their “Outstanding Member Award” in 2016. Cory was part of several teams helping to coordinate the national organization’s regional conference and has effectively coordinated Interpreters in high demand and dynamic venues. Cory has taught Interpreting, and has run a mentorship program for Interpreter’s looking to gain their National credentials.  She has been an Interpreter in private practice almost her entire career.

Cory also brings project management experience to the team at Vancro. She is adept at navigating systems and interfacing with stakeholders. Her aim is to provide highly qualified Interpreters nationwide and to change the paradigm of Interpreter procurement to ensure that Vancro’s customers are met with exceptional service through the provision of the most qualified pool of designated Interpreters available.
